Conversations With Myself

Conversations With Myself is a duet for tenor and bass trombone I wrote for Gerry Pagano’s recital at the 2017 International Trombone Festival. Of course, I performed it on alto on Gerry’s recital, but the piece goes no higher than high C, so it works fine on tenor trombone.

Conversations is to be performed over a pre-recorded backing track of synthesizer and sound design which you will receive as a .wav file. A short performance guide comes with the parts which describes the audible cues so that you will easily be able to play with the recorded track. You also receive two individual audio files–one without tenor and one without bass trombone–for practicing.
