Piano Comping Savvy

This is a video course for learning basic jazz comping. The course consists of a 15-minute video and a 47-page eBook consisting of exercises and examples.

The course takes you through three variations of two-handed comping: Bass note in left hand with two, three, and four-note right hand voicings. The purpose of this course is to help non-piano players comp changes to tunes they wish to learn or to accompany others. Regardless of your instrument, a basic ability to comp changes this way will elevate your musical abilities and ear for jazz.
