Doing this effortlessly in all keys is turning out to be extremely difficult / time consuming. It takes me 3-5 minutes just to figure it out slowly in a foreign key like f#, doing it effortlessly in all keys along with backing track will take weeks I guess. I can hum or sing the melody in any key instantly but translating it on instrument is a challenge. Also, if first I play the major scale in the key then it is easy to play happy birthday otherwise Im just trying to find notes. What is the right approach?
