This track is one containing static harmony in the key of C. This is a suspended harmony, meaning that you can play both major and minor. Static harmony is often more difficult to improvise over than varying chord changes. That is because the movement itself of varying chord changes provides interest. As you can see from tracks containing two or more alternating chords, just holding on to one common tone between the chords creates interest, whereas, holding one tone over a static harmony like this does not. Also, the lack of any defined tempo like this track adds to the degree of musical difficulty.
