Endless Horizon

Time for a simple waltz. This loop is simply a back and forth between two neighbors on the circle of fifths. That and the 3/4 time make this seem like never ending journey. Listen for the sound of the various notes and how their characteristic changes from chord to chord since almost every note you play on one, you can play on the other. Eb concert is the one exception.

So play an A concert and hear how its role in the harmony changes between the first chord and the second.

The idea starter is an example of something you can play as a loop, gradually changing and expanding it as you as you go. I intended this to be simple and an example of something you really shouldn’t have to think much about as you find melodies that work over the changes.
