Standing Outside

Here we have two chords with the root alternating between major and minor.

The speed of the groove makes it hard to think while you’re playing about the change from major to minor. So you have to really hear the change between them so that you instinctively can weave your lines between them This is the case with every goove in this series, but  especially so here.

You have four “common tones” that you can use to start a phrase and resolve a phrase.

Bell and vocal patterns are placed throughout in order to give it more motion. Weave your lines around those patterns.
