Bobby Ferrazza

"I don’t want my students to feel that they need to share my musical esthetics. I want to help them develop their talent and take that in any direction for their artistic vision."

Bobby is a jazz guitar player, teacher, and the chair of Jazz Studies at Oberlin Conservatory outside of Cleveland Ohio. His early influences were rock and pop players but after hearing George Benson, his passion was for jazz.

Bobby discusses the historic lineage of the guitar greats, his method of teaching, and his tips on getting the most out of a college education.
